This winter, Glasgow’s city centre transforms into a festive wonderland, and our “Winter Shines Bright” campaign invites local businesses to be part of the magic.

Designed to boost footfall, enhance visitor experience, and foster collaboration, the campaign offers multiple touchpoints for business engagement and visibility.

Campaign Timeline

Christmas Lighting Trail

Glasgow shines even brighter at 6pm on Thursday 20th November as our Christmas lighting trail is illuminated for the first time. We're looking for businesses along and close by the trail to do something extra special on November 20th.

Starting on Sauchiehall Street, lighting up Buchanan Street and ending along Argyle Street. The lighting installations make the perfect city-centre trail, through our main shopping district.

The trail lights up each night at 4pm after this day, until Saturday 3rd January.
