Dishoom Glasgow

A love letter to Bombay, its food and its culture, its many varied people and rich history. Serving delicious, authentic Bombay comfort food from 8am until late.

Welcome to Dishoom Glasgow…where the shadows of espionage fall long, secrets linger and echoes of ‘Bombay Noir’ flicker on the walls. Starring Miss X,
a taxi driver,
Bombay’s underworld and the city of Glasgow. The café has slipped discreetly into a corner of Glasgow’s old Stock Exchange. Inside, 1950s Bombay rumbles: bold, modern, restless – a city alive with the search for identity in a newly independent India.

Begin your day at Dishoom with breakfast, which might be a Bacon Naan Roll, a stack of Cinnamon-Jaggery Pancakes, a Parsi Omelette, or the Glasgow-exclusive Haggis Pau. And perhaps a Dhoble – our most discreet morning tipple – vodka and a furtive dash of orange bitters are concealed within bright citrus. Then, lunch lightly on a Paneer Roll and fancy Salads, or linger with a feast. Refresh your afternoon with a drop of Chai and a small plate or two. Dine early, dine late, or swing by for drinks. Dishoom Margaritas are known for adding an air of smoky mystery to even the most straightforward of proceedings.

Dishoom is mostly a walk-in café. All are welcome, any time, no reservations needed. However, if you'd like to make a reservation, groups of any size may book during the day. After 6pm, we accept bookings for groups of six or more. Takeaway is available via collection from 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.
