At the heart of Glasgow, we are more than just a pub - we are a welcoming hub for people of all ages to come together, share great food, and create memorable moments. Our mission is to offer an elevated pub experience that combines the warmth of traditional hospitality with a modern touch.

With strong roots in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, our licensees felt an instant connection to the space for teuchters living in and/or visiting Glasgow as well as all who are up for a genuine good time. It was all about creating a place that honours the heritage of Islay and welcoming everyone with the spirit of the Highlands.

From the moment you step through the door, our goal was focused on creating a warm and inviting environment for all of our guests, from locals and regulars to those visiting for events and concerts. We’ve redesigned the interior to create a space that is as cosy as it is vibrant - perfect for every demographic that walks through the doors.

At The Islay Inn, we’re proud to host a variety of events, from Gastro Nights, live music, comedy nights, and traditional Scottish music sessions. Our most recent Gastro Night was all about showcasing some of Scotland’s best ingredients within dishes served in the style of a tasting menu which allowed us to really elevate the image we portray of the food we serve. It was a huge success, we managed to sell out all seats available and we have people shouting for more! Our commitment to the local community doesn’t end there - over Christmas we partnered with The Marie Trust to support the homeless, ensuring that everyone could have warm food over the winter season.
