Scotland’s greatest running event, the AJ Bell Great Scottish Run, will return to Glasgow on Sunday 5 October and we want everyone to “Be Your Greatest."

Over 30,000 participants expected across the 10K, Half Marathon, and Family Day!

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or taking on your first 10K, this event is for everyone.  With a city centre start and finish, the run is a celebration of everything that is great about Glasgow as the city celebrates its 850th Birthday and takes runners through the iconic streets of Scotland’s friendliest city.

The event has a long heritage with Glasgow since it first staging in 1979.  Every year thousands take part in the Half Marathon and 10K running events challenging themselves and raising money for good causes whilst being cheered on by the vibrant Glaswegian crowds.

Whether it’s your first 2.5km, 10km or your 46th half marathon, the AJ Bell Great Scottish Run 2025 is a run for everyone, of all ages and abilities.   Plus, there are medals, finisher t-shirts and memories that will last for a lifetime as you cross that finish line!
