Guided Food Tour with a Glaswegian Chef
Glasgow Food Tours offers tours through the heart of Glasgow led by a Glaswegian chef that samples a diverse range of foods unsung elsewhere but beloved in Glasgow, from cullen skink to filled rolls to Scotch pies. Steven Halcrow, your guide, is a Glasgow-born chef who has worked in some of the city's best dining spots, cooked at Scotland's first Michelin two-star restaurant, and moonlighted in stand-up comedy. For years he led food tours in Cambodia, where his tours were featured in the New York Times, Vogue, and Lonely Planet. He’s now back in Glasgow and excited to be introducing visitors to the cuisine, and the history, of the city that he loves.
Patter&Scran: Glasgow Food Tours’ personal guided small-group tours give visitors the chance to have a truly authentic encounter with the real Glasgow. Tours last approximately three hours, with five or six stops, where guests will savour Glasgow’s traditional cuisine and discover unique insights into its history and culture on the way.
