Situated in the heart of Glasgow City Centre, we have restored an old Georgian townhouse to create multiple venues with their own unique style.  The Butterfly and the Pig comprises five distinctive spaces, beautifully restored to showcase the building’s original Georgian features, each offers the flexibility to suit everything from corporate meetings, private dining and intimate celebrations.

Our spaces can be tailored to suit your plans, whether you're looking for a sit-down dining experience or a more relaxed networking drinks reception.

The central attraction of The Butterfly & The Pig is the traditional Scottish recipes and local ingredients served in a contemporary and unique way. Our menus can cater for many dietary requirements with gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free options - so no-one has to miss out!

You’ll fall a little bit in love with our Tea Rooms, a beautifully restored Georgian hideaway filled with vintage charm, original character and a little bit of magic.

The Drawing Room is one of our largest private dining spaces, The Drawing Room blends timeless charm with modern sophistication. Located on the first floor, accessed via our grand spiral staircase, the room is filled with antique furnishings, large windows and original Georgian features, giving it a distinctive character and creating an elegant setting.

A distinguished space with classic character and contemporary comfort, The Board Room is made for getting down to business - or getting everyone around the table. With a TV for presentations, it’s well suited to meetings and business lunches, while also offering an elegant setting for intimate dinners.

Our cosiest private dining space, Room 13 may be small in size but it is full of character. With restored features and quirky decor, this room has a warm and intimate feel, providing a lovely setting for smaller gatherings and is perfect for afternoon tea, relaxed private dinners or drinks.

Our most modern space, The Café brings a darker, moodier feel to our Georgian townhouse. A versatile room with its own stage, presentation setup and DJ booth - it’s made for events that need a little more atmosphere. By day, it’s available for private breakfasts, lunches, presentations and corporate events. For evenings, the space is available for private hire Sunday–Wednesday, while Thursday–Saturday it transforms into our Basement Jazz Café. The perfect space for performances, gigs, awards, celebrations and DJ-led events.

  • Tea room set with linens and mis-matched crockery lit by candle and fairy lights.

  • Function room with wooden floors, floor to ceiling windows, dark wooden table and chairs and dark red curtains

  • Red tiled and carved wooden gantry. Ornate lampshades hang low over the bar and leather bar stools surround one end of the bar.
